A key feature of Embedded Posts is the ability to include various post types, like pages and custom post types (CPTs), in the block.

However, we felt the interface for displaying selected post types wasn’t as smooth as we’d like. With Version 1.0.11 of Embedded Posts, we’ve streamlined this experience, making it more intuitive and polished.

We noticed that placing an Embedded Posts block on a page could affect any subsequent loop queries—whether it’s another Embedded Posts block, a standard Query Loop block, the powerful Advanced Query Loop block by Ryan Welcher and probably many others…

Since this wasn’t ideal, we’ve addressed the issue in Version 1.0.10 of Embedded Posts to ensure smoother, independent functionality across all query blocks.

WordPress handles certain characters slightly differently, which can affect how Embedded Posts searches for Single Posts with special characters in their titles. Currently, we’ve identified & and < as characters that needed attention.

With Version 1.0.9, we’ve resolved this issue, improving search accuracy for posts with these characters. We’ll continue to monitor for any other special characters that might need adjustments!
